Some people are born to do what they do. Chris Ferrara is no exception.

Hailing from a small town just outside of Boston, Ferrara's life actually began on stage when his mother went into labor while performing in the Sunday choir. It's as if he heard the joyful noise and needed to be a part of it, and if you look at his musical influences, you will understand why.

Elvis. Michael. Stevie. Freddie. Pop, soul, and rock & roll. Ferrara's music blends catchy melodies, honest lyrics, and grooves you can't help but move to, but don't let his boyish charm fool you. Chris, also known as ‘Oz,’ is an old soul ready to breathe new life into your playlist. His passion, personality, and contagious style of music are garnering fans all over the globe, across all genres.

Although he moved to Nashville in 2013, he has called "the road" his home for the past four years, playing more than 200 shows per year. Immersing himself in the music scene, Ferrara has toured nationally and internationally, and sharing stages with Mick Fleetwood, Lee Brice, Train, Edwin McCain, Sister Hazel, and Florida Georgia Line, where he has been watching, learning, and perfecting his craft.

Ferrara's debut single, "SOCiAL," is an infectious blend of pop, country, and neo-soul. Adopted by theCHIVE.com as their summer anthem, the music video for SOCiAL garnered over 100,000 YouTube views within hours of its release. "It's the kind of song that makes you smile, and you can't help but sing along to," says John Resig, CEO of theCHIVE.

Armed with a guitar, Oz tours regularly with his supporting band, "The Common Good,” and the name is all but a reflection of his personality. "I want my music and my shows to make people happy. I just want to do good things with my music. I want to change the world for the common good."
